This is actually necessary because we have booked the entire hotel!! The dates available are Tuesday - Friday, June 6-9, 2017. The convention will actually be Wednesday evening, Thursday and Friday. There are pre-walks on Monday and Tuesday (Wyoming and Montana); Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in Billings; and post walks Saturday and Sunday (Montana and Wyoming). Optional events are the Crazy Horse walk on June 3-4, and Yellowstone National Park after the convention.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
There are 36 miles of trails in Billings, with over 7 miles along the Yellowstone River. A stretch of trail along the Rimrocks has fantastic views of the mountains beyond. On a clear day, five mountain ranges can be seen. Billings has 39 city parks, and more than 500 geocache treasures in the city alone! The Yellowstone River is the longest free-flowing river in the United States.
The downtown brewery tour will be incorporated into one of our sanctioned events. The Western Heritage Center is an affiliate of the Smithsonian, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The Yellowstone Art Museum was originally the Yellowstone County jail, built in 1884 ($5 admission).

We are proposing the following convention events in Billings:
We walked past and under many of the waterfalls in Silver Falls State Park.
Walking over the Willamette River near the campus of the University of Oregon.
The trees that were standing were huge, as were the trees that have fallen down over the years. We should be humbled.
Walking under the waterfalls was a sprinkling experience.
